Where Have I Been?

Steve may think he's had the record for not being around, but I believe I may be the current record holder still in the US, and even our beloved Brit has been on more then I. Of course if you've been goin to http://likeseriouslywtf.blogspot.com/ you would have at least read some of my stuff.

So I know I said I would be trying to come to as many events as I could before I head for Texas but planning for a wedding takes time and money, two things which I have been lacking. I am though going to try to make my final three events. Those would be the Nov/Dec, Jan and Feb/March events. Sadly I think the lack of storyline that I was trying to enact that didn't happen may have been a bit responsible for my lack of coming. Then again I just didn't...fit...in the last few I attended as well. I saw some of the folks I wanted to see, but so many new faces almost made me feel lost in the swamp.

I know I'm not the only one who has felt out of place lately as they've gone to KR but being around those I would call friends was a big part and it just felt missing. I also apparently am no longer on Kitchen Staff though that is likely due to not being around and I get it. I wish I could invite more of you to my wedding (April 12th) then is actually possible, though I do hope some do decide to come take part of the bachelor party festivities in Orlando if we do somehow manage to get tickets. If we do not I will let everyone know of what the backup plan is and where it may be held.

I do miss many of you, though you don't write and I am guilty of the exact same offense. Hopefully these plans to at least make the last three events of mine aren't derailed and I will be able to go out in some fashion. I hope all is well with everyone and I look forward to seeing everyone again hopefully in the near future.

Since most of you

Don't visit my blog I figured I better share this attrocity here

Via Kileen Daily Herald:
History will be made today when Copperas Cove resident Bill Thomas and his wife, Georgia, present President George W. Bush with a Purple Heart at the Oval Office.
Thomas said he and his wife came up with the unprecedented idea to present the president with the Purple Heart over breakfast one morning a few months ago as they discussed the verbal attacks, both foreign and domestic, the commander in chief has withstood during his time in office.
"We feel like emotional wounds and scars are as hard to carry as physical wounds," Thomas said.
The medal was awarded to Thomas on Dec. 18, 1965, following injuries he sustained while serving in heavy combat with the 173rd Airborne Brigade in Vietnam.

Excuse me?! A man who hid from Vietnam thanks to DADDY and has done more harm to this great country then Osama Bin Laden is being given a purple heart by some senile old man for "emotional woulds and scars"? Does this man not read the news about how this man does not care about mental health of our troops what so ever?
Someone needs to remind sparky that we appreciate that he suffered three wounds resulting in purple hearts, but this man is not Eisenhower, hell this man isn't even LBJ. This is a man who forces the military to send soldiers to Iraq who have suffered brain damage. When one looks at LaVena Johnson, Pat Tillman, Walter Reed and the numerous suicides that is happening to our veterans of the Iraq War how can you not be physically ill?

I never come here

Mainly because I have an adult blog and don't need to be on Xanga. Though I did just skim through the last two weeks of posts from you people and all I got was

RANT

and a bunch of folks who went to Baltimore and didn't have the god damn decency to give me a call.

That and Matt White still cries about the early 90s, but then again I cry about the 80s.

I'm engaged, kickball starts tonight, and Alex still may the hippest cat alive
